Hydrogen Sulfide, or sour gas, is a gas commonly found during the drilling and production of wastewater treatment, fluid storage tanks, and sewer systems.
When sour gas is present in an application, it is essential to outfit machinery and equipment with devices that prevent exposure. That is where spring-loaded thief hatches come in handy. Keep personnel and equipment safe from the effects of sour gas with Enardo Model 660-B and 660-LB spring-loaded thief hatches supplied by Arm-Tex.
A Thief Hatch With Bleeder Attachment
Enardo Model 660-B & 660-LB spring-loaded thief hatches are designed with a round base and cover and include bleeder attachments. This bleeder prevents a spray from discharging when the hatch cover is raised.
These hatches are intended for use in applications where tight sealing for reduced vapor loss is critical, such as those subjected to sour gas or strict environmental emissions standards. Although similar, the models are slightly different.
